After a very interesting day with much exchange of experience I met Fil in the Stiegl Brauwelt in Salzburg. But unfortunately there was a meeting of local folk singer groups in the style of "Drei hohe iii". So we did a pub-exchange and had a lot of funtalk.

After waiting for 94 minutes for the train I finally reached Salzburg and the Hotel Hefterhof. Pluged in the cable, entered the code and now I am online. It was a short journey because I met Klaus from the IMST-team and we had a lot to talk about.

Today I was with my class at the "Hochseilgarten" and we had very much fun. It was a walk at the border of what I can. But it was great fun walking on thin ropes 15 meters high above the ground.

Had a fine school-ski-day at Kühtai. But having a "fast" group was digging at my power. But it was very fine!

Final day. We did realy work on our reports and got answers to our questions. And also I heard a lot interesting things about teaching. In addition I could give important inputs to other teachers. We finished with a fine dinner.
In the afternoon I visited Conrad in Salzburg and bought some interesting little things.
In the afternoon I drank some beer with my sister and she won: at 1:30 a.m. I was too tired to continue and even left over half a beer!
On saturday I slept 'til I woke up, had breakfast, a talk with my sister and a fine travel by train back home.

Got up early, my sister brought me to Oberndorf, then with the train to Salzburg and with the O-bus to the hotel Heffterhof. We told each other about our projects. We had also a presentation about "what is good teaching" - very interesting.
The ammount of eating is twice as much as normal but double as good as usual. It is a 4 - star hotel and I have even access to the internet in my luxury room with caliban.

Went to Salzburg to my sister, went by train, payed 2nd class, drove first class. Very fine. Newspaper brought to the seat, plenty of room and almost nobody in the waggon. :-)

Today we had the whole day for "Darstellende Geometrie". From 8:45 'till 16:15. The subject was "perspective". It was a long day with a lot of coffee. But in the end it was fine drawing such images.

Kraftwerk is our teams name for the FIRST Lego league. After 8 weeks preparation we were part of the competition in Schwaz last saturday. My kids met themselfs, bought the train tickets an entered my train punctually. We had some troubles with our laptop, but after solving the problem they constructed and programmed two more challenges. Although they had a great performance in different challenges (robot-game, science-presentation, teamworking and robotdesign) we were not under the first three winners. But they were winners either, because just taking part of the challenge leads to personal winning! It was a fine day with my kids!

We presented our projects to each other to see, what innovations are right on now. We made new connections and I think this will be a productive network for Innovations in education. I got to know some new connections to teachers in Tirol.
In the evening I went to Graz by train and met my friends and talked a long time to each other about this, that and some special things.

Met the people who are in my group, projects for education in future jobs. From 200 projects there are 7 from the Polytechnical school. It was a fine day and tomorrow we will learn more about what we have to do for the IMST3 project and how we should start. In the evening we were at the "Grand Cafe of the Rothe Krebse" for some beer. Afterwards I had to climb up the hill to Johannas flat. puh!

Today I visited Charly, and old friend of mine. He showed me his newest creation which I would call "The horror place of scrambled tanks". Built in scale 1/35 out of parts of model kits of the last 50 years that were left over.

My last week in this schoolyear:
On monday I was canyoning with my class. It was a new experience and it was very fine for us all.

On tuesday we visited the "Berufsfeuerwehr Innsbruck", which was a nice visit finished with ice.

On wednesday we had a "Volleyball" tourney at the school, every class against each other class, and then every class against the teachers. And what a fun it was!

On thursday the teachers and pupils band arranged the final church service.

On friday we gave away the school report, but my car was damaged, so I was not there. Someone unscrewed the tires!

Today I had a presentation of the political and economic situation of the Republic Moldova. The opening was a plastic bag from a shop in Chishinau, the capital. I had sweets, produced in Chishinau, a youth magazin of Moldova and a package of cigarettes. The students where very amused and liked the opening. I presented the parties and the political system. Finaly I got the grade "very good". Apart of that I had two tests in geometry. Constructing two bodies in a 3-D program (GAM) and constructing the origin of a triangle, given the corner-points as x-y-z-coordinates. That is: constructing the triangle in the three axis-views and then construting the true length of each side that means the triangele in original size. Yeah! Finished it! In the next year there will be other things to be constructed!

Yesterday I added sodium to water to make it conductive, used 9 Volt batteries and a 500 Ohm resistor to start the production of hydrogen via electrolysis. Would I have added salt to the water to make it conductive I would have produced chlorine gas instead of hydrogen. It lasted 24 hours. I don't want to explode it right now in the night, so I will try that tomorrow.
You can see on the left side the positive pole, the bubbles arround the pencil lead are Oxygen. The negative pole is in the test tube, the upper half is filled with hydrogen, the lower half is still filled with water, all the bubbles you can see are hydrogen.
