Slept too long, packed our things in 10 minutes and left the hotel. Long breakfast at the Flash bar. After 4,5 hours we were back in Innsbruck. Sunny in Ferrara and rainy in south tyrol. Cold in Innsbruck. Back home at 7 p.m.

Slept longer than before. Short breakfast at 1 p.m. Waiting at the office. Got a very exclusive place. Piazza Trento e Trieste. The middle of Ferrara. Managed the bubbles on the fingers and started the first session at 7 p.m. After waiting for pizzas for one hour we played a second session until midnight and enjoyed a lot of people. Finished the day at Tiffanys late enough.

After breakfast I rent a bike and took a ride through outer Ferrara. Reached S. Giorgio, the Po-canal and the Hippodrom. Interesting town. Fine place in the evening at the Via Garibaldi. Dinner: "Buskers menu". Ammount of finger-bubbles: 4. Finished the day at Tiffanys with a special beer-prize.

Slept long with few snoring. Breakfast in the Hotel, Foccacia in the town, waiting at the office for a place. Rebeccas dog is well. Met Markus from Vienna. Got a wonderful place in front of the castello, unfortunately at the exit of the busstop. Played two sessions interrupted by a thunderstorm that passed by. Fingertips are hurting. Afterbeer at the Blue Star Bar and at Tiffanys. Learning italian with the waiter was funny. 3 beer went on the house.

Reached Ferrara after 4,5 hours driving. Shopping as usual, entered the hotel, took a shower and then begun a walk through the town. Fine meal, some beer for 4,5 EUR each. Two banjo's, Klezmer, some musicians without any amplifier. Not as much artists as last year. Two sisters from Ravenna with country and rock as final part. Rebecca met us searching her dog. We helped searching sitting at Tiffanys. A final sms from her finished the day. era al buskersgarden.

On thursday I had a fine hike to the Amberger house, starting from Gries / Ötztal. It was 2 hours hiking in and 2 hours hiking back. Have a look here.

We had a fine evening at the lakeside-studios for a ferrara-rehearsal. After the song "Bubbles for Lizzy" I recognized bubbles on my lefthand fingers. Bad sign! So I will try to build up horny skin until next week to avoid hurting fingers.

In the last days, when my nephew Meiki

was here, we played the card game "settlers of catan". We played all 6 extensions in 10 games. The score is 6:4 for him. He plays quite good.

Because of bad weather forecast we missed the last highway exit to croatia an ended up in upper austria in Riedersbach at my sister's home. We had some nice trips to Altötting, Haselbach and Braunau. We also visited Salzburg, one "Orgelkonzert", the Getreidegasse, and had a wonderful time with my sister's family. Now my nephew came with us to me to see how nice Tirol and his uncle are. :-)

Today, Aug. 6th, we first started the heating season for this year. As the temperature was below 13 deg.Celsius for for the last four days (in the evening), we fired the oven today to get acceptable temperatures in the house. I think we finished the last firing season at beginning of June this year.

Started to figure out TeX. On my system teTeX. And as I tested, I read the homepage of Thomas Esser. There he wrote, that he will not develop tetex anymore. I should join tex live. So I will have to change my installation. Tried out some tex-commands. I think I will change my preparation of the lessons for school to tex. Mostly to learn how to use the system. I created an article that is usefull for me. But then I started searching howtos in the internet, and it seems that TeX is not as easy as I thought. But I will take it as challenge for the next year. It is a combined challenge for TeX and emacs. Wonder what I will tell you in one year.

, because: Went home on sunday, got to bed at 6 p.m., slept until 3 p.m. next day exept a short break for mini-lunch. Went straight to the doctor and he said: ulcerously angina. Got antibiotica and anti-hurt-pills. At 7 p.m. I went to my dentist an she filled up two teeth. And she was very pleased that the other doctor gave me those anti-hurt-pills and the antibioticas, because they would help against possible troubles with my teeth too.
