We made a wonderful concert at the Gasthof Stern with our choire. Jazz sound with band and solosingers. We had a great audience and there were many listeners. We performed songs like Mah na - mah na, lean on me, while my sugar walks down the street, ... Two hours of happy jazzy musik under chestnuttrees.

After a nice games evening at Phillip's home (settlers of catan) we tried out my micro br. Have fun with it.

On monday evening we had the mass for St. Josef, which is the patron saint of the church in Obsteig. We celebrated the "Orgelsolomesse" from W.A.Mozart, KV 259 C maj. Plus Tolite Hostias from Saint Saens and Graduale (Locus iste) from Anton Bruckner. With us was a little orchestra. The mass was celebrated by Abt German, the abbot from Stams. So it was a very very big event with a church full with listeners even almost behind the organ. Even the "Schützen" and the "Feuerwehr" liked our singing and it was really good. Afterwards we had a fine meal in the Aschlandhof. I recorded it digitally while singing and there were no problems and the sound is pretty fine.

I used my new digital recorder boss micro br for the first time as recording device for the choir because we had the final rehearsal on friday. The recordings are very very good. The first hearing told me that it is even better than the MD recording. I can regulate the input signal better so it is not warped. The second reasons are the plugin effects and the mastering tools of the device. I was cheering! I'm happily looking forward the concert on monday evening, 19.03.2007.

I was with my sister at the rehearsal of the "Blasmusik" as listener. This evening they had noone at the drums. So the chief asked me if I would take the part of the big drum, so the musicians can play better in time. I did it and they were happy and astonished that I can play the big drum right in time. Well. Another musik part.

Today we had the annual meeting of our choire called "Stimmquadrat Obsteig". In the election the members choose me as chairman. Well, here I am.

Closed my lessons in school at the correct time, reached the train in time, drove my bike to Gregor, rang the bell - nothing. Called Gregor at the cellular - nothing. Got a sms: I am in berlin. It came to my mind that we talked about that. Shit. Because of the distance I missed the next train and had a fine time at the train station...

Obsteig has very few remarkable persons. One of them is Johann Haller, who was on the famous northpole-expedition with Payer and Weyprecht 1874. He died in Obsteig 1906. Read the story at Franzjosefland. Obsteig made some activities arround his life during the year and today was the final one. Some days ago I got a call: We need music and we have heared you can play guitar, would you please play on that evening? I did it. About 50 people listened to my guitar music and I played about 90 minutes. While listening they had the chance to drink and eat and have a look on three displays that told his life, the expedition and what was in that time in Obsteig. And they all liked the fine guitar sound. It was a fine evening and I felt like being in Ferrara. But solo.

Today we had the dismissal of the priest of Obsteig and in the church service we sang some chorals. Afterwards we had a short drink at "Partners" and then went home to me. God thanks I cooked 4 l sugo today. So Heribert made noodles as I had wheat and a noodle-machine at home, and we had a fine fast meal.

Slept too long, packed our things in 10 minutes and left the hotel. Long breakfast at the Flash bar. After 4,5 hours we were back in Innsbruck. Sunny in Ferrara and rainy in south tyrol. Cold in Innsbruck. Back home at 7 p.m.

Slept longer than before. Short breakfast at 1 p.m. Waiting at the office. Got a very exclusive place. Piazza Trento e Trieste. The middle of Ferrara. Managed the bubbles on the fingers and started the first session at 7 p.m. After waiting for pizzas for one hour we played a second session until midnight and enjoyed a lot of people. Finished the day at Tiffanys late enough.

After breakfast I rent a bike and took a ride through outer Ferrara. Reached S. Giorgio, the Po-canal and the Hippodrom. Interesting town. Fine place in the evening at the Via Garibaldi. Dinner: "Buskers menu". Ammount of finger-bubbles: 4. Finished the day at Tiffanys with a special beer-prize.

Slept long with few snoring. Breakfast in the Hotel, Foccacia in the town, waiting at the office for a place. Rebeccas dog is well. Met Markus from Vienna. Got a wonderful place in front of the castello, unfortunately at the exit of the busstop. Played two sessions interrupted by a thunderstorm that passed by. Fingertips are hurting. Afterbeer at the Blue Star Bar and at Tiffanys. Learning italian with the waiter was funny. 3 beer went on the house.

Reached Ferrara after 4,5 hours driving. Shopping as usual, entered the hotel, took a shower and then begun a walk through the town. Fine meal, some beer for 4,5 EUR each. Two banjo's, Klezmer, some musicians without any amplifier. Not as much artists as last year. Two sisters from Ravenna with country and rock as final part. Rebecca met us searching her dog. We helped searching sitting at Tiffanys. A final sms from her finished the day. era al buskersgarden.

We had a fine evening at the lakeside-studios for a ferrara-rehearsal. After the song "Bubbles for Lizzy" I recognized bubbles on my lefthand fingers. Bad sign! So I will try to build up horny skin until next week to avoid hurting fingers.
