On saturday Peter Ratzenbeck played a concert in Barwies that I visited after the recording session of our choir. He knew who I am and what guitar I play and what I am doing. It was a fine "meeting-again". In September he will come for a course and we will meet again. This evening I got a push-up for playing guitar!

On friday we started to record the first CD of my choir. We got an excellent audio-chief who did not let through half a note and half a beginning. So it will be a very good recording. We took three songs on friday and 10 songs on saturday. Every song in a very good quality. But recording the whole day, that is from 9:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., is not easy. So we hav to add sunday to the recording session to get our 19 songs. I wonder how it will end up on sunday.

After the breakfast we sang a last time in an ancient chapel in Tramin. Then we went to Sigmundskron and had three fine hours at the Messner Mountain Museum Firmian. The bus took us home and a wonderful weekend ended.

The cellar party yesterday lasted very long, but no poblem in the morning singing deep notes. A big breakfast opened our day. Then we sang the whole day, sometimes only in groups of the same voices. In the big rehearsal we recorded digitaly the songs of our new CD. It was great. Almost no failures, wonderful sound and happyness all over the choir. In the evening we gave a big concert, recorded it too and the visitor was amazed! Now I will start the second examination of the cellar-bar.

After a short travel to Tramin we reached the castel, got our rooms, had a fine meal and found ourselfs in the first rehearsal. Short time to remember old songs, but then the songs sounded great! The view from my room to the "Kalterersee" ist breathtaking! In the following hours I will explore the cellar-bar...

Yesterday we had the annual general meeting of our choir. This was my first year as chairman. Even the burgomaster visited us. We listened to the reports of me, the choirmaster and the cashier. After a short look in the future we opend the buffet and the bar. We endet up at 1.30 a.m. at the tavern "Stern". Well, it was a fine evening and I got as a present black stockings for future funerals.

Today was the "Advent-street event" of Obsteig. Each club had its own little market place to show and sell products. We sold "Bio-Fleischkassemmeln", "Punsch", "Kinderpunsch" and "Engelslocken", a sort of fried potatoes. The most important thing was that every club was present. After difficulties with enegry we started later but we were sold out at 23:30. No "Punsch" and nothing else neither. We had big fun celebrating this event.

On thursday we had a concert of my choire in Imst at the ubuntu-program. We had an event at the end of the Astrid Lindgren year and there were a lot of listeners at the church. We produced a fine performance in front of a full church. And they liked it. It is a pitty if you missed it.

Got up very early, cleared up the room, payed the hotel and went for breakfast. Took a round arround Ferrara to have a look at the defending wall, shopped a last time at conad for mozarrella buffalo and went home on the shortest way with a stopp after Verona. That have been fine days!

slept more than long after a final "too-much-beer". But we had fun with kletzmer musicians just round the corner of the hotel. In the afternoon we got the same place as on the first evening and we played only the second session because of the hoard of bubbles on my fingers left and right. But it was a fine evening and there was much crowd of people arround. Sometimes we had about 30 standing and listening. Finish of the evening was at Tiffany and the funny last order: "un' aqua mineral con gas" - "hehe". Brought me a beer and said: "gas inside anyway".

Slept long again, breakfast in the usual bar. Rent a bike and drove through the city, took a look at my modellkit-shop at Via Carlo Mayer. For the evening we had a fine place in the first session but had to move for the evening session. The second place was good though. Finished after Blue-Star-Bar and Tiffany at the market place.

slept long with enough snoring for more people than we are. Went to the buskers office through rain, rain and rain. Got our buskers package and a fine place in front of the castle. We didn't play the first session, but went for dinner. Played from 21:30 to 23:30, sold some CDs and finally finished the evening at the BlueStarBar and at Tiffanys.

arrived in Ferrara at 19:30, same hotel, same room as every year. Took a round through the city, some new features. In the pubs they still know us and offered us special beer-prices. Tiffany: "Haetten Sie die Guete zu zahlen?" :-)

On wednesday the trio recorded the new CD called "Mi viene da piangere". After several problems we got the sound and the files on our PC.

On thursday evening Gregor and I startet a recording session, that lasted 2 hours and brought us very interesting material for the "best-of-sampler". Then we visited the new WELI, drank some beer and enjoyed the music of the 60s. I had decided to sleep in the SH3 (thanks David for the cheese!) so we could enjoy a very empty WELI very long. Finished the evening with a SH3-kitchen-beer-sit-in. On friday I woke up and did many things I had to do in town. One thing was a tiny little reissue of Gastophon (1994) and Saxophon (1993) for someone who burned down the songbooks in a campfire.
