Slept well and long
Now I know, how long it lasts from
waking up 'til driving away: 5 minutes. Wake up, shock: 6:00 a.m.
put on my clothes, make some lunch for the day, no breakfast, put
on my shoes, take my school-bag, close the house, start the car: 5
minutes. puh! 8 minutes to the railway-station, one minute too
late, but: the train itself was 2 minutes too late, so I got it!
What a start in a day, that brought me 9 lessons until 5:05
p.m.

My first girl
After 6 years of teaching in my 7th
year I have the first girl in my electro-group. She wants to become
something like a technical drawer. Or maybe a
"Druckvorstufentechnikerin". Dont't mind what, but I have a girl
that is interested in technique. Great!

autumns hike
Today we went together with Ursula,
Clemens and his son Gabriel from Obsteig to "Adlerhorst" above
Nassereith. About 10 minutes before we reached the point, the rain
reached us and so we took the short way downhill and the parents of
Clemens took us with the car back home. But it was a nice 2 hours
hike. The best thing of all were the wonderful coloured trees
(Rotbuchen). It was a very nice view. And because Obsteig is at
1000 m altitude, it was a horizontal hike with no up and
downhill-hiking.

Great choir concert
Yesterday was the day we were waiting
for for almost 1 year. It took a lots of rehearsals to finaly make
it. And we made it! 175 visitors in the small hall, the last ones
didn't even get a seat. We bought 20 bottles of Prosecco, but we
ran out of it. We finaly sang better than the day before, and
Andreas directed better than ever. We had to give two encores, and
the applause didn't want to stop. So it was a great evening, even
for us. It was a milestone in the choirs history: Never before they
mad such an event without any musician, only a capella.
Afterwards we had a dinner at the "Fernsteinblick" and came home at 12:30 a.m. 21.10.2005. Unfortunately I had to get up today at 5.15 a.m.

public rehearsal
Today was the day of the public
rehearsal of our concert. A lot of people came and enjoyed the
event. We were nervous as usual and made some little mistakes, but
the audience liked the show. Most the "Landsknechtständchen" were
we got applause within the concert. I wonder what the recording
will be. Either video and sound. A first thanks to the cameramen
Philipp and Gregor for doing their jobs well. So go ahead for
tomorrow!

Last rehearsal
Today was the final rehearsal without
public listeners. Built up the stage, set up the light, mounted
cameras and microphones, tested the standig of the choire. Philipp
was cameraman, still-photo-cameraman, sound-manager and the one who
told us how to make the best light. A girl from my neighbourhood
managed the Spotlight and all invited assistants were here just at
time. The sound was ok, especially when I remember the first time
we sang the songs. I think we are ready for the public on
wednesday.
I wonder how the sound and the film will be at the end. We have one DAT-recorder, one MD-recorder and three digi-cams. One of them is mounted fix in the background, one is at the side, and one will be the motion-cam hold by a person, filming additional scenes in the audience. Soon you will read more.

Big concert week
4 of the five next days will take my
full attention for our choire-concert. I hope, I have all arranged,
everything is bought and organized, everybody takes his/her part
seriously and nobody will become ill. So then, Mr. Sulu: bring us
out of the orbit and go ahead!

Biking in Innsbruck
From today on I have a bike at the
main train station in Innsbruck, so i can drive through the town
whenever I want. I tested it last saturday and found it useful.
Tomorrow I will visit my pupils at their jobs with my bike. The
locations are spread all over Innsbruck. I'm happily looking
forward my bike tour tomorrow.

Biking in Innsbruck
It works fine. Every hour I have a
train to Innsbruck. Today I took my bike with me when I went to
Georgs Oktoberfest. As in Graz it was fine in Innsbruck too to go
by bike through the town. 10 minutes to Georg. In the future I will
place a bike next to the station in Innsbruck, so that I have it as
I need it.

Train train
Finaly I did it! I bought a
one-week-ticket from the vvt, stood up at 5:15 a.m. and got the
train at 6:07 in Mötz. Five minutes from the station in Hall to the
school by bike. Sure, a bit early, but half an hour half asleep
sitting in the train is fine too. Now I'm going to test the way
back home.

k3b downgrade
Yesterday I installed the
testing-version of k3b. Then I wanted to burn a Cd, but k3b crashed
whenever I added files to the project. So I downgraded to the
stable-version. It works. Thats not what I wanted, but we will see
what the future brings.

roaring deer
Today at 8.30 p.m. we met a friend
and went into the wood of Holzleiten to have a look at the roaring deer. First we
enjoyed the overwhelming look at the stars. You could almost see
every little star of the milky way. Then we saw hundrets of
glowworms on the floor, so it was a feeling like walking over a
star field. Then we met the deer. It was about 20 m away. We
couldn't see him, but we could hear the roaring and could smell
him. A male goat smells like parfume. So imagin what a roaring deer
smells like. Afterwards at 11 p.m. Clemens and I drank a Stiegl on his stairway. This sentense
sounds funnier in german. "Wir tranken ein Stiegl auf der Stiegn".
