The election campaign is over and this is the result:

Strange: 35 % humidity outside, 23 deg. C outside, 20,5 deg. C inside the house

I did a donation of 150 EUR for the woman-houses of Innsbruck. Strange story: Innsbruck made an auction of the old street signs of Innsbruck which I visited. "Bozner Platz" made 1500 EUR, "Maria Theresien Straße" about 900 EUR, "Rennweg" 1200 EUR. And three signs "Innrain" were sold for each at about 700 EUR. So at the 4th sign "Innrain", were I grew up, I held up my number several times with no thought of getting it. But then: "Innrain" the fourth sign stopped at my last offering at 150 EUR and so first - second - third: It was mine. Well! Now I am the owner of the only two-line sign "Inn = rain".

Strange feeling. First night alone in my house again. Reverb in the rooms, no sound than mine.

On these two pictures you can see the two last snowfields about one houre before they were gone away for this season. This is the first time since Nov 22nd that we have no snow around the house.

In case of the light off action I turned off all the lights in the house from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. today. It was very dark in that hour!

It is still snowing outside.

It is almost spring, but winter will not go!

Today was the first day this year that I sat on the terrace, drinking my coffee, reading a newspaper. Although there is a lot of snow around I only wore a t-shirt and no stockings.

Today we had a realtor here who will sell our house in a few months. Well, a new part of my life!

Imagine, what sound occures, if you have an animal, called Tettigonia viridissima, male, IN your room. In the nature, you can hear the chirpy-chirpy sound about 50 m, but wow, that's great. Even harder was to find the Great Green Bush Cricket. It hears very good, jumps some meters and can fly good too. But I catched it and set it free. Now the silence is very fine.

Yesterday I heard the first crickets this year. When they stopped chirping the rain started.

It is almost the 17th April and it is still snowing. Hight 3 cm. Never ending winter?

During 2007 the library of Obsteig startet a photography-contest titled "Was ich mit Obsteig verbinde - was mich mit Obsteig verbindet". My picture didn't enter the calendar, but is shown in the Internet.
