First day of use of my new toy. Due to the death of my N9 I had to look for a new mobile phone. I had a look at the jolla, but unfortunately it has poor hardware. So it became this one:

It was tricky and it took me almost a week to figure out, how it works, but now I found a (first) solution how to create a multiple-page table with LaTeX. I used csvreader.

This is a blog about rebirth. After the death of bender and the change of the host of colleen, I can announce:
Colleens body is the new host of the reincarnation of bender.
Under the cats-eyes of Pauli we did the action of rebirth:
New debian, no RAID.
First task: The printer - Maybe not wired? - Indeed: But the cable to be wired was located at: BIOS
Second task: Xephyr - checked!

Hardware of the new Bender:
2,4 GHz, 320 GB HDD, 3 GB RAM - That works fine!

Have a look at Pauli and Bender 2.0:

pluged in a 32 GB USB-stick to my A1-modem. Enabled it as "fileserver". Now I got a 32 GB disk for my net :-)

The webcam on my raspberry pi now works. There have been a lot of barriers until it worked as I wanted.

And so it works:
Motion is running on the raspi, it takes a capture every 5 minutes.
If it detects any motion in the picture it safes 2 pictures per second.
A ssh-key makes it possible for the pi to send a picture to the server.
The site refreshes every 5 minutes.

Well, I will turn on the raspcam sometimes for fun to play with the settings. There are some points left on the todo-list.

Ooooohhh, it works! I can have a look, what is at home!
